How often should the hydraulic oil filter be replaced

The hydraulic oil filter element is used to filter out solid particles and colloidal substances in the working medium in the hydraulic system. And filter out all kinds of solid impurities mixed from the outside or inside the system, which can effectively control the degree of pollution of the working medium and protect the normal operation of mechanical equipment. It is an indispensable part of the pipeline series for conveying media.
The hydraulic oil filter element is mainly installed in the hydraulic system: on the suction pipe, on the pressure oil road, on the return pipe, on the bypass road, on the separate filter system.
How often should the filter element be replaced?
Under normal circumstances, the replacement cycle of the hydraulic oil suction filter element is to replace it every 2000 hours of work, and the replacement cycle of the hydraulic oil return filter element is to replace it every 250 hours of direct work, and then replace it every 500 hours of work.
If it is a steel plant, the working environment is relatively harsh, and replacing the filter element too frequently will affect production. It is recommended to take samples of hydraulic oil regularly and send them to test the cleanliness of the liquid, and then determine a more reasonable replacement cycle.
